sreengrab.properties of ja-JP folder is broken.
sreengrab.dtd of ja-JP folder is English.
Please use the ja locale which I offered by all means.

Most of the locales are broken. I should’ve mentioned this. I waited for as long as I could to get new translations of strings from babelzilla.org. I think they’re a lot busier than they used to be. As the translations get completed I will include them in the new version. Sorry.

Thanks for such a wonderful extension.
Earlier ScreenGrab was slow coz of Java, but I used to use it coz there was no other better alternative… But now with Gecko, its extremely fast… And I love the selection facility!
Simple Advise from my side: Most users like me prefer to be able to tell the format while saving the file. For example, if I have done a selection of a scenic-photo, then I would prefer to save it as “JGP” else if its a website with limited number of colors, then I would prefer a “PNG” format…. so the idea is that the user might like to select the format at runtime (while saving).

I’ve just installed a new FireFox 2.0.0.3 and then ScreenGrab 0.93. The installation should be succcessful. I can see the add-in in the add-in page, and I can change the Screen Grab options. The problem is… I can’t find the capture button!
could you please help!
(I’ve tried to right-click and customize the toolbar but I can’t find the ScreenGrab icon)

Oh this is fantastic. Unfortunately it seems not to photograph flash stuff, but otherwise it is wonderful.

You’ve moved the download to mozilla.org, but they seem to have only version 0.7. I can’t get/find version 0.93

Does anyone else have a problem downloading screengrab! to work on a Mac. (10.4.10)? I only get the following file: screengrab_-0.93-fx.xpi when I download it. There is no program to install. Also it wouldn’t automatically open and I chose suffit expander to open the .xpi file. It still didn’t give me a way to install the plug it. Do I just need to drag it somewhere? Is it suppossed to work for Macs?

Please new Release for 3.0b1 Version!

I miss the full-resolution, non-compressed images that previous versions captured. In fact I can’t use the new images Screengrab produces. Any plans to bring back the maximum image quality, even as an option?
March 7th, 2008 at 4:50 pm
Oh, Sorry Andy. I see that if I want full-quality images, I can set the option to capture *.png and then use other means to convert the files to *.jpg and get full quality. It would be more convenient to have a quality option for jpg.

definately a very neat add-on (thx!!) but I have to admit: a quality option is necessary. the current pixelation on jpgs is aweful :/
